OLD?
You must think I’m gonna say that do ya, huehehehehehe…
Or perhaps you expect I’m gonna say “MATURE”, u know, a-quite-soft version of OLD
Neah… What I’m gonna say is that I think I’m ALIVE!!!
Bien sur!
Today, I turn into 31-year-old-freaking-crazy-gal. Thank you for all my friends who has sent me birthday prayer, thru sms, facebook, even JobsDB sent me birthday wish! I’m touched, guys, really I do!
But I think my biggest thank I have to give to my mom. Whom - after I recalled what my father always tell me about day I was born - makes me alive, more than ever.
Thirty one years ago, if only she hadn’t decided to give labor in that hospital, I won’t be here, sitting in Plangi Food Court, fighting for my right of finding the ‘colokan’ first with another girl, and blogging.
No, it’s true. The laboring, and also the fighting ^^
Thirty one years ago, I’m the only baby that survived from the caesario surgery. At that time, 8 moms did the caesario surgery at the same time, 7 babies were ‘out’, and I’m the champ :D coz all moms except my mom were trying to give labor first at the midwifery (klinik bidan, apa sih lu nyebutnya basa inggris?), so when their baby were in trouble and need surgery, they had to experience a few hours journey from that clinic to the hospital! What a life-and-death-journey!
While my mom needed only to move from labor room to surgery room, on the same hospital. A brilliant MOM!!!
So, I guess my birthday prayer today will go for my mom. I wish God will grant her with long-life health, bigger patience than she already has, and happiness for all her life.
(And I know she wishes me only this : “I hope you bear a baby soon!!!”)
And to all my friends and my best-iest friends who has sent me best birthday wishes, I hope all your wishes for me will also happen to you guys… Love you ^^
So…
I’m 31 now. And I’m still the same Mia, who will still do jumping-jumping (loncat-loncat maksude) without any particular -and important- reason, who will always spill sauce to her clothes, who always cries out loud when she has bad nightmares.
But this 31-year-old Mia, I hope, will cherish life more than before, will always be thankful for whatever God has given me, will always share her compassion, will fight for world peace (hei, what are you, miss universe???) hehehe…
and will be, eugh… more MATURE
